COMMISSIONING A PAINTING
I work in acrylics on paper and canvas, and my portraits are hung in private collections all over the world.
Subjects undertaken include horses,dogs, farm animals wildlife, sporting paintings, horses in action, racing scenes landscapes and buildings
All my work is guaranteed and if you are not happy with the finished painting, I will change it or repaint. I will send photos of the work in progress for input from the client, so that changes can be made early.
Please remember that the photos that I have to work from are important as if they are poor or not clear , the final result will be compromised.
Also I get very busy at times, particularly Christmas, so please allow time for date specific paintings.
I usually take a minimum 10% order with booking, and we supply a full framing service.

HOW I WORK
I work mainly from photos, either your favourites or I can visit to meet the subject and take my own.
I can take multiple subjects from different photos and combine them into one painting if required, or add a background from a different photo

Simple portraits.
These are single head studies with a colour wash background and prices start from £200
Pair of portraits
A pair of head studies in one painting start from £350
Multiple Studies
I can combine several head studies in one painting. The more animals in the painting, the more it will cost, but prices start from £450 for 3
Dual Portraits
These consist of a head study combined with an action study. Prices start from £450
Whole Horse/Dog Portraits
These can either simple studies with a colour wash background, or more extensive portraits with a more detailed background. Prices start from £300 for small paintings
For more complicated paintings with multiple subjects such as horses with riders, horse racing subjects, multiple animals with landscape backgrounds etc I will quote individually as price will depend on how complex the painting is.
